Okay, folks, I’m turning to you for help in filling in some blanks in a song I’ve been singing the last couple of days;  it’ll help if you’re over forty, and like traditional sacred music.  😀    (Well it will!)

In the late 70’s a talented young tenor by the name of Kent Walters sang this song near the end of his Senior Recital. After being in hibernation all this while, it emerged a couple of days ago and I’ve been singing it to myself this week.

Thanks to James (comment below) I can now post the complete lyrics here.  What a great truth to sing and re-sing in these uncertain times.  (12/15/08)

He is so great and I’m so small
I am amazed that he’s concerned each time I call
Though I’m unworthy of His love and care
He’s pours unnumbered blessing on me from up there

Each secret heart He understands
I know he holds the whole wide world within his hands
He hears each anguished prayer he sees each sparrow fall
He is so great and I’m the most unworthy of all

He hears each anguished prayer he sees each sparrow fall
He is so great and I’m the most unworthy of all
